PILATES – what on earth is it?
I do Pilates differently than what you probably have experienced or heard so far. I combine it with Bodyart. But let’s first talk about Pilates.
The Pilates method is a body conditioning that aims to improve your posture and flexibility. It tones, strengthens and develops control and endurance in the body. The emphasis is put on alignment, breathing, centering and developing the core muscles (abdomen, lower back and hips) commonly known as the powerhouse.The ultimate aim is balance and stability which is key to a healthy body.
What on earth is BODYART?
The comprehensive course program Bodyart is based on the five elements of Chinese medicine and regards the person as a unity of body, mind and soul. Through the exercises strength, flexibility and balance will be interconnected. Stability, coordination, well-being, improved posture, prevention and counteraction of back pain as well as stress reduction are positive effects of the unique training. By regular training the body will be shaped and you will feel strengthened and more vital in your everyday life!
